Each year I swore it would be different. It was like a juggling act. The shopping, cards, wrapping, events, decorating, traveling on top of my already busy life got to the point that it wasn’t fun anymore. I overextended myself by saying yes too often.
January! Time for new beginnings. You’ve got a clean slate. And probably a few New Year’s resolutions, too. But now that it’s the middle of January, maybe those big resolutions are fading fast. How to stay on track? For starters, stop calling them resolutions, and call them promises. Add in some SMART goals, and set yourself up for success.
“Good morning! Forgot your homework? That permission slip was due yesterday? Where’s your backpack? Hurry up, catch that bus! Never mind, I’ll drive.
